It could be you! (Pensions Arena October 2017)

What happens when your pension director wins the lottery?

This quarter, our Arena article “It could be you!” looks at the use of role play to help in risk management. Maybe a lottery win isn’t very likely but most sponsors and trustee boards are worried about “key person” risk and how to ensure their scheme’s operations are not badly affected by the sudden loss of one or two key individuals.

Increasingly trustees and sponsors are role playing ever more complex and extensive scenarios, to test how robust their scheme is to a variety of different risks. We look at some of the most common scenarios now being modelled and the benefits of doing so.

And, of course, October’s Pensions Arena contains all the usual financial and investment analysis for the quarter ending 30 September 2017, presented in the BAC Dashboard.
